REALTOR at Calcagni Real Estate
“Do what you love…and if you make a difference in someone’s life by helping them reach their goals, then you have made a difference in the world.”
Wallingford is the place I love to call home. Being a lifelong resident of Wallingford gives me great personal and business contacts as well as knowledge of the town and area. I can remember my younger years playing organized softball and cheerleading in town. Growing up with two sisters and many close cousins, my weekends revolved around “family time”. I was the first of my sisters to leave the nest and go away to Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. As most students, I didn’t expect to return to Wallingford, but I am pleased to say that I am truly happy I ended up back home.
Just after college, I began working for a local medical equipment company which became a 15-year career path. We had a very close group of employees who really helped me grow into the individual I am today. Working for the CEO and CFO in an administrative position also trained me to be very well organized and attentive to detail. This skill has proved important with all that is involved in buying and selling a home and managing my career as a REALTOR. Calcagni is a local family-built company that made my decision to choose Calcagni the logical choice! Being a Realtor since 2002, time has certainly gone by fast…. however, no two days are the same. Always something new to experience in Real Estate!
I love to be outdoors on the water! I enjoy photography— I love to be still and capture the beauty of a moment in time or breathtaking scenery. I have played and managed our company-sponsored women’s softball team. I was also Captain Chair of our Calcagni Relay for life team (American Cancer Society).
**I enjoy working with my clients and real estate allows me to help people in one of their most important decisions of buying and/or selling a home. Together, I know we can capture, share, and treasure some great moments from this experience.
“Kristin has been the agent of choice for my family for years now and has always handled our real estate transactions with patience and professionalism. This last one was quite a challenge. We had to sell our mom’s home and move her to a Memory Care Center. The challenge for Kristin was listing and selling a home that was classified as Affordable Housing. To say it was complicated is an understatement – lawyers, the Wallingford Housing Authority and several other outside parties were involved. Kristin handled all of it – recognizing that our family was struggling with my mom’s illness. Through her kindness and commitment, we were able to get the sale done and turn our focus back to family. I highly recommend her for all of your real estate needs! If there were stars given, as in an online review, she would be all five stars!” – Deb T.
