Changing from one career to another has been a rewarding experience and one that Susan
takes in stride. Susan has a B.S Degree in Early Childhood Education and applies her education
to her new career.
With her motto in mind, Susan works to help her clients change from one stage of their life into
the next through home ownership. She is experienced with buyers of all types including, first
time buyers, out of state buyers, specialty home buyers and sellers. Since 2010 she has
guided her clients through the home buying and selling process throughout the 8 counties of
Connecticut.
Susan has achieved success during her tenure as a real estate agent at Calcagni Real Estate.
She has her M.OR.E. (Master of Real Estate) designation, she is Certified New Home Construction
(CNHC) and Residential Construction Certified (RCC). Susan embraces technology as
she understands and utilizes online resources to connect with clients. She continues to educate
herself to the highest level to provide the best for her clients.
Susan lives on a small farm in Bethany with her husband and has two adult children. On her
farm she has cared for horses, goats, rabbits, cats, chickens, dogs, a donkey and a bearded
dragon. Susan’s community work included serving on the Clark Memorial Library Board for 8
years and the Nonnewaug High School/Ellis Clark Agriculture School Advisory Board for 5
years. As her children were growing up they were involved in Boy Scouts, 4H (Litchfield and
New Haven county), and FFA (For the Future of Agriculture). Her son has achieved Eagle
Scout, has participated in many community service projects and has his B.S. Degree in
Mechanical Engineering. Her daughter has participated in many fairs & horse competitions,
has her B.S. Degree in Large Animal Science and a M.S. Degree in Agriculture.
With her life long knowledge of Connecticut and extensive experience. Susan can help you
