CHESHIRE, CONNECTICUT— October 27, 20200—Realtors from Calcagni Real Estate have recently received their Commercial and Investment Real Estate Certification (CIREC) from the New Haven Middlesex Association of REALTORS (NHMR), announces Antonio Liguori, President & Broker.
The CIREC program “teaches the foundations needed to provide commercial & investment real estate brokerage services,” according to NHMR. After completing 22.5 course hours, graduates of the program receive a Certificate of Completion, joining over 1,600 agents who are CIREC certified. Such a certification will allow these agents to conduct commercial real estate deals throughout Connecticut, in addition to aiding residential buyers and sellers in their real estate transactions.
The CIREC program covers a wide array of topics, from how to classify and list office space and leasing development to how the LEED Rating Systems work and understanding discrimination laws.
“Having our residential agents receive CIREC certification will allow Calcagni Real Estate to expand our footprint into the commercial space throughout Connecticut,” says Jennifer DeVivo, Vice President of Sales, REALTOR. “It helps us understand ROI, market values associated with commercial real estate and whether or not a transaction makes financial sense for an investor and as such, lends credibility to who we are and what we do.”
In addition to DeVivo receiving her CIREC designation, agent Ralph Riccio also received his certification. They join agents Bridie Bradbury, Chrissy Green and Niki Carabetta in holding this designation at Calcagni Real Estate, along with the company’s commercial agents, Ralph Lewis and Jillian Moruzzi.
