Calcagni Real Estate Celebrates 55 Years in Business

Calcagni Real Estate is proud to celebrate a significant milestone – 55 years in business! It all began in 1969 when the late Doug Calcagni co-founded Serris & Calcagni Agency with a business partner. Doug later ventured out on his own and established Calcagni Associates Real Estate. The company eventually evolved into the well-known Calcagni Real Estate. Doug Calcagni was previously quoted as saying, “Building Calcagni Associates from the ground up was an amazing and a very rewarding experience for me. It is humbling to know that the company I started continues to exhibit strong family values and cares deeply for our clients and the people who work there.” Doug is remembered at Calcagni as a great leader and an honored “founding father” of the company.

Changes in the Business

The real estate industry has seen remarkable transformations and advancements since 1969. Changes in technology play a pivotal role in the business over the past 55 years. These updates have changed the way real estate professionals conduct their business. Consider the creation of online property listings or the use of virtual tours and digital document signing. This offers new opportunities for Realtors across the board and continues to evolve the industry. However, Luke Williams, the CEO of Calcagni, emphasizes that while many things may change, the core values of Calcagni remain constant, saying, “Despite being laser-focused on cutting-edge technology in its 55th year, some things at Calcagni never change. Our unwavering commitment to serving our clients, our people, and our greater community like no other is in our DNA. To this day, we are humbled to treat our clients and employees like family.” 

Celebrating our Future, Together

From its modest beginnings, Calcagni Real Estate has grown into a respected local institution. What was once a small Cheshire-based company has now expanded considerably. Our company now includes include multiple offices, a commercial division, and a thriving new construction market. Jennifer DeVivo, our dedicated Broker and COO, reflects on her role and the company’s legacy, stating, “I am honored to continue the legacy of leading a company with such strong community ties and a group of Real Estate Agents and employees that not only care about our clients but also each other. We show up every day continuously evolving to be better than we were the day before.”
