The HOBI Awards honor outstanding builders, remodelers, Realtors, and others for their excellence in home construction, sales, marketing, and design. On November 13th, nearly 900 attendees from across Connecticut gathered to celebrate the best in the industry. Outstanding New Homes Salesperson, Hartford County – Brandon D’Angelo
Brandon D’Angelo won the award for Outstanding New Homes Salesperson in Hartford County for his impressive work at The Yorkshire of Farmington. The 94 luxury townhomes at The Yorkshire of Farmington set a new market standard, selling just as quickly as they are built. As a result, the community frequently reaches a “temporarily sold out” status, often with a long waitlist of eager buyers. Brandon skillfully manages this high demand with a profound sense of grace. Outstanding New Homes Salesperson, Middlesex County – Daniela Volo
Daniela Volo earned the Outstanding New Homes Salesperson award for Middlesex County due to her exceptional work at Arbor Meadows of Cromwell. The development offers nine unique floorplans, ranging from 2,000 to over 3,000 square feet. Designing these semi-custom homes requires meticulous attention to detail. Daniela consistently uses her strong project management skills to expertly multitask, guiding multiple clients through the buying process. As the listing agent for Arbor Meadows, she has demonstrated her expertise and commitment to the success of this subdivision.
Outstanding New Homes Sales Team, New Haven County – Bridie Bradbury and Kristin Daly Murphy
Bridie Bradbury and Kristin Daly-Murphy earned recognition as the Outstanding New Homes Sales Team in New Haven County for their exceptional work at Pierpont Hill in North Haven. Pierpont Hill redefines duplex-style living with four unique floor plans offering three to four bedrooms. This complex project requires strong organizational and communication skills, which Bridie and Kristin consistently demonstrate. With this in mind, their deep understanding of interchangeable features helps guide potential buyers smoothly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Leasing Agents of the Year – Jim Bulger and Stanley Martone
Jim Bulger and Stanley Martone won the Leasing Agents of the Year award for their excellent work at Lakeside of Cheshire. Straightaway, they approached this apartment rental project with strong drive and determination. Launching in September 2023 with a waitlist announcement, they quickly signed the first lease by November. Securing tenants for 114 apartments is no easy feat. However, Jim and Stanley filled every unit in just nine months, finalizing the last lease on August 12th, 2024. Consequently, their efficient and strategic efforts set them apart in this achievement.
