Cold Nights Call for Cozy Rooms!
It is easy to divide a space with furniture groupings, such as using a small table for two or four to create a separate area from the sofa and loveseat. With a wood floor, add a small area rug under the table for definition. A chair and ottoman in a corner, next to a bookcase, can be a great spot to curl up with a favorite book!
In a larger room, you can use a warm deep color on the walls to suggest ambiance. Smaller rooms should have a lighter color on the walls and accessories for added warmth. Medium or dark colored wood accessories such as small tables, boxes or picture frames are wonderful for enhancing that cozy feeling.
