Sunwood Development’s Bridgewater Estates in Northford was honored recently with the prestigious HOBI Award for “Outstanding New Haven County Single Family Home $600,000-700,000” for its Dayton model.
The building industry’s HOBI Awards Gala is sponsored each year by the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Connecticut (HBACT), and is considered by many to be the industry’s most prestigious recognition of excellence in a variety of categories which include, home construction, home technology, sales and marketing, home financing and community service.
Each year, several hundred entries are received for awards consideration. A panel of industry leaders serve as the judges and select the winners after carefully reviewing applications, touring nominated homes and interviewing entrants.
“This year, homebuyers are focused on value and the amenities that make their lives easier and less stressful,” said HOBI Awards producer, Joanne Carroll. “At Bridgewater Estates Dayton model, our judges were impressed with Sunwood Development’s value engineered construction, as well as the popular features they incorporated, like the convenient drop zone for organizing mail, coats and boots; and in the master suite, the enormous combination dressing room walk-in closet with sliding barn door access to a spa-like master bath.”
