You’ll never find us here at Calcagni Real Estate wishing away the summer months, but as New Englanders, the fall season just never seems to lose its magic for us. There’s the golden sunlight that dapples the changing leaves, the particular shade of blue the sky takes on, and the crisp mornings and evenings that infuse the air with the promise of coziness. And then, of course, there are the numerous fall festivals that bring us out and about to enjoy the communities where we work and live! This fall is shaping up to be busy and FUN, thanks to all the local festivals happening this year. Read on for more details– and we hope to see you around town!

Cheshire Fall Festival
Friday, September 9-Saturday, September 10

Join us at the Cheshire Fall Festival on Saturday, September 10! Calcagni Real Estate will have a booth, so please stop by and introduce yourself, say hi to old friends, and ask us anything you want about your local real estate market!

You’ll also be able to enjoy food trucks, a car show, live music, vendor and craft booths, and fireworks–all while enjoying seeing your fellow neighbors out and about!

Southington’s Apple Harvest Festival
September 30-October 2 and October 7-9

Held over the course of two weekends, Southington’s Apple Harvest Festival “is one of the largest and longest running festivals in the Northeast and typically draws a crowd of over 100,000 people.” This celebration of autumn’s bounty is held on the Southington town green and features arts and crafts booths, live music, food vendors, magic shows, fireworks, and more! Bring your family and friends, and we hope to see you there!

Celebrate Wallingford
Saturday, October 1-Sunday, October 2

Join the Calcagni Real Estate crew at Celebrate Wallingford this fall! The 2-day event is held in the center of town and brings the townspeople of Wallingford (and beyond!) together to enjoy food from local restaurants, local vendors and craftspeople, live music, and a chance to mingle with friends and neighbors you’ve been meaning to make plans to see. Grab your loved ones and head to the center of town for a weekend of fun in the autumn sun (fingers crossed!).

North Haven Fair
September 8, 9, 10, 11

Celebrating its 80th (!) year, the North Haven Fair returns this year to provide live music, food, and entertainment classics such as the truck pull, tractor pull, draft horse pull, wrestling, and more!

Grab the family and come learn about the history of this fair, along with farming practices, magic shows, and a petting zoo! Held at 290 Washington Avenue, the North Haven Fair is a great way to spend an early fall weekend. We hope to bump into you over at the cotton candy stand…

Durham Fair
September 22-25

Whether it’s your first time at the Durham Fair or your fiftieth, this year (their 102nd!) is sure to be every bit as fun, packed with farm animals, live music, food, food and more food, and an all-around celebration of autumn in Connecticut.

Motorized events, animal pulls, magic shows, rides–there is surely something for everyone in your family, so put on your comfy walking shoes (this fair covers a lot of ground) and get ready to have a great time!

Berlin Fair
September 15-18

Located 430 Beckley Road in Berlin, this Connecticut fall fair is back this year with a bunch of fun for the whole family. From Demolition Derby to Berlin’s Got Talent and food, crafts, music, and more, the Berlin Fair has something for everyone and is sure to keep people of all ages entertained for a few hours (or days)!

Guilford Fair
September 16, 17, 18

From farm animals to entertainment for the whole family, the Guilford Fair is back this fall and slated to be better than ever. Come for the live music, parade, food, and for a chance to say hi to your fellow neighbors–not to mention to enjoy the classic fall-in-Connecticut feel this fair embodies!
