It is always a special moment when new agents join our team. We welcome them warmly, make the rounds of introductions to our four offices, and spotlight them to our friends and clients via press releases on our website and social media. What makes these occasions even more significant is when the agent is returning to Calcagni after some time away. Whether they changed careers or real estate companies, we are always thrilled to have them back.
Joan Luna Zayas is one example. From 2002 to 2013, she worked at Calcagni as a front desk administrator, as Advertising Coordinator, and as REO Coordinator. We enjoyed her kind spirit and hard work and are delighted to have her back as an REO Realtor.
Joan is a multitalented woman with a strong presence in the Wallingford Hispanic community. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she was the Executive Director of the Spanish Community of Wallingford for several years. A proud UCONN alumni and an empowered Leukemia survivor, Joan’s intelligence and strength as an individual and a businessperson are unquestionable. She is already working with buyers and sellers and is eager to meet new clients.
